Blake Shelton’s Potential Return to The Voice: His Response is Revealed
Blake Shelton doesn’t regret his decision to leave The Voice.
The “God’s Country” singer expressed that he has no intentions of coming back as a judge on the singing competition show, stating that that particular “chapter is closed.”
“I had a good run on the show for 23 seasons,” Blake told E! News during the opening of his new bar Ole Red Las Vegas on April 22. “When the last season came around, I felt it was time to move on.”
Reflecting on how the show evolved with rule changes, “block buttons,” and “steal buttons” during his time, Blake commented, “I’ve witnessed all the different versions we tried to keep the show fresh and exciting.”
As for his future plans, Blake revealed that he wants to refocus on his country music career. “It was time to get back to my original job as a country singer,” the 47-year-old shared.
