Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Share Their Thoughts on Marriage
After starting on the ABC morning show in 2012, Amy Robach became the host of the post-Good Morning America timeslot following the transition of the Pandemic: What You Need to Know series to GMA3: What You Need to Know.
T.J. Holmes, who joined ABC News in 2014 and quickly became close friends with Robach, was then announced as her co-host.
“You really couldn’t have chosen a better person to team up with,” Robach told People, “we’ve been looking for a way to collaborate for the past five years.”
Describing Holmes as “like a brother,” Robach added, “We’re so in sync, we finish each other’s sentences. We have such a great connection. It’s amazing to have that level of trust, which isn’t always present on set. But I know he always has my back, and vice versa, and that means everything.”
Robach also mentioned that she and her husband, Andrew Shue, frequently went on double dates with Holmes and his wife, Marilee Fiebig.
