The Epic Love Story of Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson Revealed
Sam Taylor-Johnson and her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson may just be proof that love conquers all. 16 years into their relationship that began when Sam, 57, directed Aaron, 33, as Beatles legend John Lennon in 2009’s Nowhere Boy, they have built a strong family unit.
They have four daughters—Angelica, 26, and Jessie, 18, from Sam’s previous marriage to art dealer Jay Jopling and Wylda, 13, and Romy, 12, the daughters they welcomed before their 2012 wedding. Sam described them as “four very strong, opinionated young women” to The Hollywood Reporter.
They have found their home in a five-bedroom, 16th-century farmhouse in Somerset, England, after spending the lockdown years in Hollywood Hills.
But most importantly, they have learned to ignore the speculation that surrounded their relationship when they first got together. “There are times where it’s uncomfortable,” Sam admitted to THR, “Most of the time we zone it out and stay pretty private. We tend to retreat. Kids and school runs keep you pretty grounded.”
