Prince William’s Support for Kate Middleton during Cancer Diagnosis
Kate Middleton is sharing about her loved ones during her health journey.
After revealing her cancer diagnosis and undergoing chemotherapy, the Princess of Wales reflected on the support of Prince William during this challenging time.
“It has been a difficult few months for our family,” Kate said in a video message on March 22. “Having William by my side has been a great source of comfort and reassurance.”
Kate, who has children Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8), and Prince Louis (5) with William, shared that her January abdominal surgery was initially believed to be non-cancerous. However, tests post-surgery revealed the presence of cancer.
“This news was a shock, and William and I have been working through this privately to protect our young family,” she shared. “It has been a process for us to come to terms with this.”
She stressed the importance of recovering from her surgery before starting chemotherapy, as well as the significance of discussing her condition with their children.
