During a cookie decorating activity with children on March 14, Prince William was complimented on his artistic abilities, but he quickly redirected the praise to his wife. He admitted, “My wife is the arty one,” and noted that their children are even more artistic than he is.
These remarks were made amidst controversy surrounding a photo shared on Kensington Palace’s social media on U.K. Mother’s Day, featuring Kate with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Following the release of the photo, several major photo agencies issued statements saying that the image did not meet their editorial standards.
