Dakota Johnson Discusses Views on Motherhood in Light of Relationship with Chris Martin
Dakota Johnson may be considering starting a family of her own soon.
As the Madame Web actress, who has been in a relationship with Chris Martin for six years, shared her thoughts on motherhood during an interview published on March 5 by Bustle.
“I’m so open to that,” Dakota expressed. “I’ve reached a point where I really want to embrace all that life has to offer. As a woman, it seems like such a magical thing to do. It’s a crazy, magical, wild journey.”
While she is open to the idea of becoming a mother, Dakota believes it is ultimately up to fate.
“If it’s meant to be, I’m completely on board,” she added. “Lately, I’ve been contemplating the brevity of life. There’s so much to absorb, learn, grow from, experience, and feel.”
Dakota concluded, stating, “If becoming a mother is part of my destiny, I welcome it with open arms.”
Despite her openness to starting her own family, Dakota has a strong bond with the children of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin – Apple, 19, and Moses, 17, from his previous marriage to Gwyneth Paltrow. As the Fifty Shades of Grey star mentioned, she enjoys a wonderful relationship with them.
