Fort Langley welcomes a Taylor Swift-themed market with a chance to win concert tickets
An upcoming artisan’s market in Fort Langley is set to be themed around pop star Taylor Swift on Saturday, March 9.
Although not officially affiliated with the singer, the “Swiftie Market” promises to provide attendees with album-themed cocktails, swag bags for the first 100 guests, face painting, trivia and games, cover bands, and a chance to win a $1,300 concert ticket for Swift’s December 6 show.
Guests can also look forward to appearances by Swift impersonator and drag queen Carrie Dawn, a friendship bracelet making station, and a photo booth.
The event is organized by Gourmet Groceries, who regularly host artisan markets across the Lower Mainland.
Event planner Anna Chen shared that the idea for the market stemmed from the limited number of Swift concerts in Vancouver compared to other cities like Toronto, stating that fans in Vancouver often miss out on tickets to her shows.
The ticket draw will be free to enter with multiple opportunities to participate throughout the day. Winners will be announced on Instagram following the event.
To be eligible to win, participants must be following @GourmetMarkets on Instagram. Tickets for the event come in three tiers: free, VIP 1 for $19.89, and VIP 2 for $31.13, each offering different benefits and perks.
The market will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 9 at the Fort Langley Golf Course located at 9782 McKinnon Cr. Tickets can be purchased through allevents.in.
