All You Need to Know About Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ in Singapore: A Comprehensive Guide

After a long wait, American pop star Taylor Swift is finally bringing her The Eras Tour concert to Singapore for Southeast Asian fans.
She will be performing at the National Stadium in Singapore from March 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, 2024, with special guest Sabrina Carpenter.
Being the only Southeast Asian stop, a Reuters report estimates that 7 out of 10 of the 30,000 concertgoers will be coming from outside Singapore.
Among those expected are Filipino Swifties, as the Philippines had the highest number of fans who purchased activity-booking platform Klook’s Taylor Swift concert experience packages. Klook, an official partner of The Eras Tour, offered various experience packages with concert tickets and hotel accommodations.
As the The Eras Tour in Singapore unfolds, here are some important reminders for fans attending the event:
Transportation
With over 50,000 attendees per show, expect the venue and surrounding area to be crowded. Luckily, the National Stadium is easily accessible by public transport, making it convenient for fans.
Concertgoers have the option to take the MRT (train), bus, taxi, or private car service to reach the National Stadium. AEG Presents Asia has provided a detailed guide on the transport options and drop-off points near the venue.
Program schedule
The stadium gates will open at 4 pm, and attendees must present their electronic or printed tickets for admission. Different sections have specific gate numbers for entry, and all concertgoers will undergo security checks before entering.
Once inside the concert bowl, re-entry is not permitted, and crossing sections is prohibited.
Children aged three and above must have tickets for admission. Parents not attending with their minor children should seek assistance from Sports Hub staff. Crutches and wheelchairs will be allowed with designated areas.
Sabrina Carpenter will start each The Eras Tour show in Singapore at 6 pm, followed by Taylor Swift at 7:10 pm. The concert is expected to last for three hours.
VIP admission and merchandise redemption
VIP packages include exclusive merchandise like tote bags, collectible pins, stickers, postcard sets, and lanyards. VIP ticket holders have designated entrances based on their tier.
They can redeem their VIP merchandise from February 28 to March 9, 2024, from 11 am to 8 pm at Level 1 of OCBC Square. Concert tickets must be presented for package redemption.
AEG Presents Asia emphasizes that all VIP ticket holders must redeem their merchandise before entry. Failure to collect within the specified timeframe will result in forfeiture of the VIP merchandise.
Merchandise details
Fans can purchase souvenir concert merchandise to remember the show! Merchandise booths will be operational from February 29 to March 9, allowing fans to secure desired items over several days.
On February 29, March 1, 5, and 6, fans can buy Taylor Swift merchandise at the Stadium Riverside Walk and OCBC Square from 11 am to 6 pm.
For show dates from March 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, merchandise booths at the Stadium Riverside Walk and OCBC Square will open from 11 am onwards. Specific booths for concert ticket holders will also be available at the South Dome Deck and Pitch Stand, National Stadium from 4 pm to 9 am.
According to AEG Presents Asia, overnight queuing for the merchandise booths is prohibited. Refunds and exchanges are not allowed once the buyer has left the counter. Only card payments will be accepted, not cash.

Additionally, there is a retail pop-up store located at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center. Fans must pre-register for a slot before visiting. The store will be open from 11 am to 9 pm on February 29, March 1, 5 and 6, and from 11 am to 6 pm on March 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Prohibited items
AEG Presents Asia has provided a list of items that will not be allowed inside the stadium. Some important reminders include:
- No animals, except certified disability service animals.
- No umbrellas, including collapsible ones.
- All friendship bracelets must be worn on an arm or placed in a bag.
- Liquid containers and water bottles must be empty before entry, and only plastic bottles are allowed. Glass and metal bottles are prohibited.
- Bags must not exceed 35 cm in height, 30 cm in width, and 20 cm in depth with a maximum of two compartments. Clear bags are not necessary.
- No hand sanitizers over 60 mL.
- No weapons, flammables, aerosol containers, outside food, beverages, alcoholic drinks, vapes, cigarettes, or illegal substances. Food and drinks can be purchased inside the venue.
- No flyers, banners, or signs larger than A3 size (11’’ x 17’’), and no political signage.
- Only personal cellphones are allowed; professional cameras, video cameras, drones, iPads, laptops, and other gadgets are prohibited.
- No live streaming of the show.
The Eras Tour marks Swift’s first stadium tour in five years. The tour began in the US in March 2023 and is expected to conclude in December 2024 after 150 shows.
According to the Guinness World Records, The Eras Tour has been declared the highest-grossing music tour ever, surpassing $1 billion in revenue. It is the first tour to achieve this milestone. – Rappler.com
