Josh Hartnett Surprises Fans with Rare SAG Awards Appearance Following Hollywood Hiatus
Josh Hartnett recently shared why it was a dream come true for him to work alongside Robert Downey Jr.
After a lengthy hiatus, Josh Hartnett has returned to the Hollywood scene, attending the star-studded 2024 SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 24. This marked his first appearance at the annual ceremony in years, showcasing his rare presence in Hollywood since the mid-aughts. The 45-year-old graced the red carpet at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, exuding elegance in a black tuxedo complemented by a black brooch pinned to his lapel.
The Minnesota-born actor, currently residing in England with his wife Tamsin Egerton and their three children, made an appearance to show support for his film Oppenheimer, which has received four award nominations. Despite his relocation from Los Angeles over ten years ago, Hartnett has sporadically attended events globally, such as the BAFTA Film Awards in London on Feb. 18. Even so, the 40 Days and 40 Nights star continues to engage in American film projects, including Oppenheimer, where he portrays the late Nobel laureate and nuclear physicist, Ernest Lawrence.
