“Blanket” Jackson, Son of Michael Jackson, Celebrates 22nd Birthday
Michael Jackson‘s youngest son, also known as Bigi Jackson, has reached adulthood and is following in his father’s footsteps by achieving success in the art world.
Recently, Bigi celebrated his 22nd birthday on Feb. 21 and also received his first film award for his directorial and screenwriting debut, Rochelles, winning Best Drama at the Santa Monica Film Festival. This is a significant achievement for the young filmmaker who was previously known by the nickname Blanket as a child.
During the festival, his older brother Prince Jackson, the eldest of Michael Jackson’s children, shared his excitement for Bigi’s success on social media, captioning an Instagram Story with a message of support and celebration.
Rochelles, which stars Jesse Howland and Brandon Bales, tells the story of two friends competing for a prestigious job at a restaurant. The short film was shot in Los Angeles over the course of five days and is currently available for rental on Amazon and Roku, produced by 2293 Productions.
