A Look Back at the Style of First-Time Nominees
The 2024 People’s Choice Awards, commonly referred to as the PCAs, will take place on Sunday in Los Angeles. The event will feature a number of nominated stars who have previously attended the show in custom looks and designer labels, from Jennifer Aniston in a sleek satin dress from Prada to Chase Stokes in a black two-piece set from Versace.
Ahead of the 2024 PCAs, WWD looks back at what some of the nominees wore when they attended the show for the first time.
Jennifer Aniston, 2001
Jennifer Aniston, nominated for Female TV Star of the Year and Drama TV Star of the Year for her role in “The Morning Show,” attended her first PCAs in 2001. The actress arrived wearing a long black satin gown with a rushed bodice and twisted strap detailing from Prada.
Chris Pratt, 2003
Chris Pratt, who was nominated this year for Male Movie Star of the Year and Action Movie Star of the Year for his role in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vo. 3,” first walked the show’s red carpet in 2003. The actor arrived wearing a black pinstriped sports jacket and burgundy striped tie.
The 2024 People’s Choice Awards will premiere on Sunday Feb. 18 on NBC, E! and Peacock.
