Heartbroken Travis Kelce Mourns Deadly Shooting at Super Bowl Parade
Travis Kelce expressed his devastation following the tragic shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs parade.
At the 2024 Super Bowl victory rally in Missouri on Feb. 14, gunfire erupted in the crowd, resulting in at least one fatality and 21 injuries, as reported by local police.
In response to the incident, Kelce took to social media to share his grief.
“I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today,” the 34-year-old tweeted on Twitter. “My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected.”
Kelce, who has been with the Chiefs since 2013, added, “KC, you mean the world to me.”
Earlier in the day, his mother Donna Kelce joined him at the parade, along with fellow teammates and their families. His girlfriend Taylor Swift was not present at the celebration, as she was preparing for the next leg of her Eras Tour concerts in Australia, scheduled to begin on Feb. 16.
