Taylor Swift Debunks Celine Dion Grammys Snub Rumors with a Single Photo
Taylor Swift is hardly ever so clever that she forgets to be kind.
At the 2024 Grammy Awards on Feb. 4, the “Karma” singer faced criticism for seemingly not acknowledging Céline Dion when accepting the Album of the Year award. However, any notion of a feud was quickly dispelled as the two musicians posed for a photo backstage.
Upon leaving the stage, the two music icons shared a tender hug. Taylor, dressed in a custom Schiaparelli white gown, embraced the “My Heart Will Go On” singer, and they both smiled for the heartfelt moment.
Céline, wearing a Valentino coat and light pink dress selected by her stylist Law Roach, surprised the Grammy audience with her appearance to present the final award of the night. The 55-year-old has openly discussed her ongoing battle with stiff person syndrome, a neurological disorder that causes muscle stiffness and spasms.
Expressing her appreciation for the standing ovation from the Grammy audience, Céline said, “When I say that I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart,” before presenting the award to Midnights.
