Hilarie Burton Calls Out Person Pretending to Be Her Teenage Son Online
Hilarie Burton is speaking out against a “creep” who impersonated her 14-year-old son on social media.

The One Tree Hill actress asked her followers to take action after discovering a TikTok account pretending to be her and Jeffery Dean Morgan‘s son, Augustus “Gus” Morgan.
“Hi everyone. I need some help. I don’t have TikTok and neither does our son,” she posted on Instagram on Oct. 25, sharing a screenshot of the fake profile. “But there’s this creepy person who is obsessed with him and keeps creating profiles on different platforms. I understand he’s wonderful. But she’s crossing the line by using the identity of a 14-year-old boy.”
Hilarie then explained the efforts she and Jeffrey have made to address the situation. “We’ve tried contacting her parents,” she said. “We’ve reached out to her directly. We’ve even involved law enforcement because she’s broken laws with her actions. So please, if you have that platform, report her.”
Shortly after, Hilarie—who is also a mom to daughter George Morgan, 6, with The Walking Dead star—updated her followers about a second social media account impersonating Gus.
