In August 2023, Kelsea shared a throwback clip on TikTok of herself getting ready for her first official date with chase on Jan. 7, 2023.
“Happy weekend,” she wrote in the caption, “Here’s a video I sent to my best friend before my first date with chase.”
She showcased her outfit while her song “How Do I Do This” played in the background, a song about going on a first date after many years.
“Here’s the look, with the boots,” Kelsea commented as she checked herself out in the mirror.
Turning around to show her half-up, half-down hairstyle, she added, “We’ve got the hair clip, because we’re trying to be a cool girl.”
She shared details with her friend, saying, “He’s picking me up and we’re heading to a sushi place. I’ll give you a full update tomorrow.”
After taking a deep breath and mustering up some confidence, she said, “I can do this. I can do this.”
