Kylie Jenner Opens Up About Feeling ‘Heartbroken’ Over Rift with BFF Jordyn Woods: ‘Losing Her Was Really Lonely’
Kylie Jenner has confessed to feeling heartbroken about her fallout with BFF Jordyn Woods five years ago. The two friends, who were extremely close, separated after Woods kissed Tristan Thompson at a party in 2019 while he was dating Khloé Kardashian, Jenner’s sister.
Jenner recently discussed the topic in an interview with Elle for their November cover story, published on Wednesday, October 23, during her attendance at Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Bash in Beverly Hills.
“I was heartbroken,” Jenner revealed. “Losing that person made me feel really lonely, but it was a necessary experience for me to go through.”
“I learned a lot, gained independence, and learned to rely on myself. It was a growing experience because we were so inseparable,” she added.
Jenner explained that the fallout was essential for both herself and Woods, as Woods needed to find her own path and figure things out as well.

Despite their publicized friendship coming to an end, Jenner mentioned that they always tried to keep in touch and work through any issues that arose. She said that whenever something happened, whether good or bad, Woods was always the first person she would call.
When news of the cheating scandal broke, sources revealed that Jenner and her family were shocked and angry.
Woods addressed the controversy on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk, clarifying that while she and Thompson did kiss, there were no feelings involved. She attributed her actions to being under the influence of alcohol.
Following the interview, Khloé Kardashian called out Woods on Twitter for causing pain in their family.
After a tumultuous four years since the fallout, Jenner and Woods reconciled in July 2023 when they were seen dining together in Los Angeles. An insider disclosed that Woods initiated the reconciliation by apologizing to Jenner for the past. The two friends were also seen together in a TikTok video in September.
Jenner also received an apology from Thompson, which was featured in the latest season of The Kardashians. Khloé appeared to be supportive of her sister rekindling her friendship with Woods.
