Zayed Khan, Main Hoon Na actor, shares harrowing story of his elder son’s near death experience at age 3: ‘I can’t breathe’
Zayed Khan rose to fame for his role in the movie Main Hoon Naa, captivating audiences with his youthful and charismatic performances in the early 2000s. Recently, he shared in an interview that his elder son, Zidaan, has respiratory issues and faced severe breathing difficulties at the age of three. This led Zayed to struggle with depression as a father.
The actor made an appearance on the YouTube channel Couple Of Things, hosted by his former co-star Amrita Rao and her husband, RJ Anmol. They discussed various topics, including his career, marriage, and experiences as a parent. During the conversation, it was revealed that Zidaan Khan has been battling serious respiratory problems, posing life-threatening situations at times.
Zayed recalled an incident in London when his son approached him, unable to breathe, leading to a medical emergency. With quick action and medical intervention, including injections and potential surgery, Zidaan’s condition stabilized after a couple of hours, avoiding the need for surgery.
The ordeal deeply affected Zayed as a father, causing him to experience depression at the thought of losing his child. Despite the initial grim outlook from doctors, Zidaan has defied expectations and leads a healthy life, actively participating in outdoor activities.
Zayed Khan, son of veteran actor Sanjay Khan and brother of Sussanne Khan, married Malaika in 2005 and has two sons, Zidaan (2008) and Ariz (2011).
