Anees Bazmee Shares Exciting Update on No Entry 2 Film Shoot: Does He Love Varun Dhawan’s Comic Timing?
The 2005 film No Entry, starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, is widely popular in the comedy genre. Reports surfaced in 2024 that a sequel, No Entry 2, was in the works. Director Anees Bazmee has now provided an update on the film’s progress, mentioning that shooting is expected to begin early next year. He also praised Varun Dhawan’s comedic timing.
In a recent interview with Midday, Anees Bazmee expressed his excitement for the No Entry sequel, highlighting a talented star cast. He mentioned plans to start filming in 2025, stating, “Once Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 releases on November 1, I will focus all my efforts on No Entry Mein Entry. If everything goes well, we will start filming next February-March.”
During the interview, Anees Bazmee also commended the comedic abilities of actors from the new generation. He particularly praised Varun Dhawan, who is set to star in No Entry 2, for his comic timing.
Bazmee also praised Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao, mentioning his admiration for their work even in films that may not have performed well at the box office. He hinted at a fresh portrayal of these three actors if they were to collaborate on a film.
Pinkvilla previously revealed that Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh have been cast in the No Entry sequel. A source shared, “While Anees Bazmee will helm No Entry 2 as writer and director, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh are set to lead the film. The trio is excited about the script and have approved the storyline.”
In an exclusive report from August, Pinkvilla also disclosed details about the female cast. A source mentioned, “In addition to Varun, Arjun, and Diljit playing dual roles in No Entry 2, the film boasts a strong ensemble cast with 7 female actors.”
