Charles admitted that he hasn’t had the chance to read all the love he’s been receiving on social media, but he’s grateful for how much viewers care about him and recognize his care for others.
“One message I saw stated that they would do whatever they could to protect Charles,” the reality star shared. “That is a powerful message that I truly appreciate.”
Regarding his daughters’ reactions to his newfound fame, Charles mentioned, “They are also quite shocked and surprised, but I believe they will learn to handle it.”
Charles also believes that his late wife would have been supportive of his journey and new life in the spotlight.
“Naturally, it would have been a surprise for her as well,” the father of two recalled. “She used to say, ‘Well, Charles, sometimes you can be quite shy.’ But she would also have been concerned about me. She would have wanted to see me reach out and find happiness again rather than being sad all the time. That’s not what she wanted. She wanted to see a happy version of me, like the old Charles L.”
Although Joan sent Charles home in week four, he still keeps in touch with several guys from the show through a group chat. As for his relationship status, Charles confirmed that he is single and is hoping to find someone who is sweet and intelligent.
