Vipin Sharma shares his experience working with Salman Khan in Kick and auditioning for Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par
Actor Vipin Sharma is well-known for his roles in movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Kick, Paatal Lok, Monkey Man, among others. Throughout his successful film career, he has worked alongside renowned actors such as Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and other Bollywood celebrities. In an interview, he shared his experience of working with Salman Khan in Kick and mentioned how he auditioned for Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par.
Speaking to Digital Commentary, Vipin Sharma recounted his involvement in Kick with Salman Khan. He mentioned how he met the late Irrfan Khan during the filming of Krazzy 4, which led him to be included in the cast of Sajid Nadiadwala’s movie. This is how he got the opportunity to work with the star of Tiger 3.
When asked about landing the role of Nandkishore Awasthi in Taare Zameen Par, Vipin Sharma shared his experience of auditioning for writer Amole Gupte, who was collaborating with Aamir Khan on the film. Despite feeling that the role was not meant for him, he went ahead and auditioned multiple times, eventually forgetting about it. To his surprise, he received a call from Amole informing him that Aamir Khan had chosen him for the role. Sharma also revealed that Aamir had seen his audition by mistake.
In the same interview, Vipin Sharma talked about his experience of working with Aamir Khan, who not only acted but also directed the film. He praised Khan for his friendly nature and mentioned that he never felt intimidated by him as a director. Sharma appreciated Khan’s understanding of films and admitted that he never felt nervous around the Raja Hindustani star.
