Sukesh Chandrashekhar, partner of Jacqueline Fernandez, expresses interest in acquiring substantial shares in Dharma Productions, stating, ‘Movies mean more to me than just a business venture’
Sukesh Chandrashekhar gained fame for his love for actress Jacqueline Fernandez, despite being in prison for alleged money laundering. He continues to send letters, some addressed to Jacqueline, expressing his desire to buy a stake in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Recently, Sukesh sent a ‘letter of intent’ from Tihar jail in Delhi, aiming to acquire 50-70% stake in Dharma Productions. The letter, shared with the media by Sukesh’s PR team, mentioned his passion for movies and his admiration for Karan Johar.
He mentioned in the letter that his family and he are fans of Dharma Productions due to their respect for Karan Johar and Jacqueline Fernandez. They expressed their interest in investing and becoming part of the Dharma family through an all-cash deal within 48 hours.
There were reports earlier about Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India, planning to acquire a 50% stake in Karan Johar’s company for Rs 1000 crore.
