6. Birch admitted that all four lead girls had a “wild crush” on Devon Sawa. It seemed like everyone had a thing for the Casper star in the ’90s.
“I remember there was some kind of contest,” Todd revealed. “They said, ‘Get with Devon,’ and we were like, ‘What does ‘get with’ mean?!'”
7. While Sawa chose to stay silent on the matter, Birch shared that his Casper co-star Ricci was the one who won the contest. Todd spilled, “She got out front and the other girls weren’t happy about it.”
Sawa commented, “I was the only 15-year-old boy with the cast of the hottest young girls in town, so it was a lot of fun.”
8. Sawa credited Ricci with helping him get the role of Scott in an interview with E! News. He said, “We got along quite well in the small amount of time I worked on Casper. She remembered and recommended me, and I got the part. We spent a lot of time together during the shoot.”
