Carly Waddell of Bachelor Nation to Marry Todd Allen Trassler
Carly Waddell‘s quest for love has reached an exciting milestone.
The reality TV star from Bachelor Nation has announced her engagement to boyfriend Todd Allen Trassler on Oct. 17.
“Something special happened in Costa Rica [ring emoji],” she shared on Instagram. “Many of you have been curious about why Todd wears a ring on his finger and that’s because last Halloween, I asked him to marry me first! (I’ll share more of this story SOON) BUT SPOILER ALERT, he said yes, even though he was so surprised that it was hard for him to believe! Then, ANOTHER SPOILER ALERT, he proposed to me THIS October and I also said YES!!!!”
The Bachelor in Paradise alum’s announcement was accompanied by a video of her, Todd, and her two children Bella, 5, and Charlie, 3, on their vacation.
In the video, featuring her song “So I Do,” Carly, Todd, and her kids (from her previous marriage to Evan Bass) enjoy a boat ride to a beach. As the video unfolds, Carly leads her children to the water, gazing at the sunset. Todd pretends to take a picture of the family before getting down on one knee to propose. The video concludes with Carly showing off her ring and giving a close-up of the custom sparkler.
