Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 2 is set to air on October 18, 2024, at 11:40 pm JST. This means most international fans will get to see it on the same day around 2:40 pm GMT / 7:40 am PT / 10:40 am ET. Note that the exact release time may vary by region and time zone.
The episode will be shown on Fuji TV in Japan, while English-subtitled versions will be available on Crunchyroll and Netflix for international fans. Both platforms require a subscription, with Crunchyroll offering a simulcast of Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 2.
Expected plot in Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 3
According to the title preview, Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 2 is named ‘Glorio.’ This suggests that the episode will introduce Glorio, a Majin from the Demon Realm who was briefly shown in the previous episode observing Gomah and Degasu’s plan.
After Gomah’s attack, Glorio might approach the Z-Warriors to form an alliance or provide insight into their current situation. From the trailers, it seems Glorio will join Goku and Supreme Kai as they venture into the Demon Realm, acting as their guide.
Glorio is linked to a mysterious figure known as the Masked Majin, whose role is unclear. Glorio’s intentions are cloudy, but Episode 2 may shed light on whether he opposes Gomah’s rule over the Demon Realm.
Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 2 recap
Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 1, titled Conspiracy, picks up after Dabura’s demise, with Gomah taking charge of the Demon Realm. Alongside Degasu, Shin’s younger brother, they observe the Z-Warriors during the battle against Majin Buu.
Their sister, Dr. Arisu, suggests using the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls to turn the Z-Warriors into children as a way to weaken them. Gomah, Degasu, and Neva, the creator of the Dragon Balls, head to Earth’s Kami’s Lookout to gather Earth’s Dragon Balls.
At Kami’s Lookout, Neva retrieves the Dragon Balls, and Degasu subdues Dende. Additionally, they realize that Dr. Arisu had visited Earth before.
Meanwhile, the Z-Warriors, including Goku, are celebrating Trunks’ birthday at Capsule Corp. Episode 1 concludes as Gomah summons Shenron with Earth’s Dragon Balls and wishes for the fighters in the Buu battle to be turned into children.
