Cardi B Uncovers Her Former Stripper Alias
Cardi B is embracing her past.
The rapper, known for hits like “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It,” has always been open about her previous career as a stripper. However, she recently revealed the name she used during her time in that industry.
Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, shared two photos from her birthday party on Oct. 11, where she turned 32. She flaunted the outfit she wore for the occasion, purchased from Satin Dolls, the strip club in New York City where she used to work.
“Let me tell you about my daring outfit,” she wrote on Instagram on Oct. 13, referring to the revealing black mini-dress. “The dress I initially planned to wear was too small and skimpy.”
“I hopped into a truck and headed to [Satin Dolls Gentlemen’s Club], where I spent four years,” Cardi added. “I purchased this bold dress because nothing was going to stop me from enjoying my night.”
