Jamie Foxx shares heartfelt images from his comeback show after health scare
Jamie Foxx is thankful to be back on stage.
The 56-year-old recently performed his previously announced one-man show, One More Chance: An Evening With Jamie Foxx, in Atlanta. This special moment came over a year after he experienced a life-threatening medical complication in April 2023.
“God is good,” he wrote in the caption of an Instagram post on Oct. 3, sharing a carousel of images from the show. “As I look at these pictures, my heart and soul are filled with pure joy…on October 3rd, 4th, and 5th, I had the chance to share my story, and Atlanta, Georgia was the perfect place.”
Expressing his gratitude, he added, “I want to thank Atlanta for your incredible support. It had been 18 years since I last stood on a stage, but I needed it, and I needed an audience filled with nothing but love, and that’s exactly what you were.”
