The Golden Bachelorette’s Fiancé Speaks Out About Previous Restraining Order Filed Against Him
During her application for a temporary restraining order, Gansen’s wife claimed that the physician had sent her text messages attempting to reconcile before becoming angry, and later physically threatening her, as stated in an emergency motion obtained by People.
She also alleged that on the day she requested the order, which was ultimately dismissed, Gansert had placed an object under her tire after encountering her at the gym with his sister, and then gestured a shooting motion towards her.
E! News has contacted ABC for a response but has not received a reply.
A source familiar with the production informed E! News that during their screening process, Mr. Gansert disclosed that his ex-wife had filed for a Temporary Protective Order following a dispute, but confirmed that it was not granted as his ex-wife withdrew the application shortly after filing.
The source added, “Therefore, he was allowed to proceed with the casting process.”
