Meghan Markle Stuns in Red Gown During Unexpected Appearance

Meghan Markle stunned attendees at the 2024 Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Gala on Oct. 5, making a surprise appearance at the charitable occasion.
The 43-year-old looked amazing in a vibrant red Carolina Herrera dress, a piece she had previously worn during one of her final public events as a senior royal alongside Prince Harry in 2021.
Opting for a simple yet elegant look, the Duchess of Sussex wore her hair down in loose waves, paired with open-toed heels and minimal jewelry.
She was photographed on the red carpet with Kelly Zajfen, a fellow mother who tragically lost her 9-year-old son Georgie to a sudden illness in 2022. Meghan, who is a mother to son Archie (5) and daughter Lilibet (3) with Harry, also posed with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles president Paul S. Viviano.
Speaking to reporters at the event, Meghan shared, “As a mother, no one wants to find themselves in a situation where they need to come to a place like this, but Children’s Hospital L.A. is truly one of the best places in the world. The staff here is incredible, and the level of care they provide for families who may not be able to afford it is something that should never go unnoticed.”
