Saoirse Ronan Provides a Glimpse into Her Private Marriage with Jack Lowden
Saoirse Ronan is opening up about her marriage.
The Irish actress, who tied the knot with her Mary Queen of Scots co-star Jack Lowden in July, shared some rare insights into their relationship after working together again on co-producing The Outrun, in which Saoirse stars.
“Jack is much more composed than I am. He keeps me grounded,” the Lady Bird actress, 30, revealed to USA Today. “Being in the film industry for so long, we understand the challenges actors face. Our priority is always their safety and comfort.”
The four-time Oscar nominee expressed their desire to collaborate on more projects, particularly focusing on stories set in Jack’s homeland of Scotland.
Regarding appearing on screen together again, Saoirse disclosed that Jack has been hesitant, given their previous experience in Mary Queen of Scots, where they first met. However, she recently convinced him to reconsider the idea.
