Boris Johnson Claims Queen Elizabeth II Fought Bone Cancer

Queen Elizabeth passed away at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, a decision that her son King Charles III recently revealed was a deliberate choice made by the monarch.

“From a personal perspective, Scotland has always held a special place in the hearts of my family and myself,” Charles expressed during a speech at the opening of Scottish Parliament on Sept. 30. “My late mother particularly cherished her time at Balmoral, and it was there, in her most beloved setting, that she decided to spend her final days.”

Excerpts from Boris’ memoir emerged nine months after Charles disclosed his own diagnosis of an unspecified form of cancer. In late March, Charles’s daughter-in-law Kate Middleton also revealed that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy, which she has since completed.

“My focus now is on doing everything I can to remain cancer-free,” shared Kate, who is the mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis with her husband Prince William. “Although my chemotherapy has ended, the road to healing and complete recovery is a long one, and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”
