Lady Gaga Reveals Michael Polansky’s Proposal and Talks Wedding Plans
“We reached the summit, looked around, took some photos. Then we descended and were walking back to the room,” she recounted. “And then, very much like Michael, he asked me if he could propose. He wanted my permission before actually popping the question. And I was like, ‘Of course, go ahead.’”
When Kimmel mentioned he would have proposed on top of the rock, Gaga responded, “I think his decision was wise. It was safe. He had the ring in his backpack, which was really sweet.”
She also mentioned that Polansky didn’t follow the traditional gesture of kneeling when he proposed.
“He didn’t, but I’m a modern woman,” the Academy Award winner remarked. “I appreciate what he did.”
Regarding their wedding day, Gaga shared that the couple are still unsure about their plans.
“We’ve discussed the option of going to a courthouse just the two of us and having Chinese food,” she revealed. “But knowing me, it might turn into a big production with unicorns.”
