Relative of 80’s Brat Pack Legend Unveiled
An ’80s film icon recently appeared on Claim to Fame.
During the July 31 episode of the ABC reality competition series, contestant Naomi was eliminated after her co-star Adam correctly identified her celebrity relative. This marked the first accurate guess of the season.
Adam, however, confessed that he had no idea who the renowned actress was when he made the guess. So, who was the famous name revealed?
It was none other than Molly Ringwald!
In a video message to the eliminated contestant, Molly Ringwald, a member of the original Brat Pack, greeted “Hi, Claim to Fame.” She confirmed her identity as Naomi Burns’ cousin and apologized to Naomi for her elimination, wishing her a safe return home while expressing how much her family misses her.
As for how Adam correctly guessed, it was revealed that Naomi had shared her secret with fellow competitor Hud, who then discreetly informed Adam of Molly’s identity during the elimination round.
“Hud disclosed my secret to Adam,” a disappointed Naomi revealed in an on-camera interview. “I feel completely deceived.”
