50 Cent Takes Legal Action Against Former Partner Daphne Joy Following Abuse Allegations

Following public accusations of raping and physically abusing ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy Narvaez in 2011, the rapper is now suing for defamation, as per court documents obtained by E! News.
In the filing on May 6, it is alleged that Narvaez’s abuse accusations were related to Jackson’s efforts to gain sole custody of their 11-year-old son Sire, after discovering her involvement in a lawsuit against Sean “P. Diddy” Combs by Rodney Jones, in which she was named as one of the sex workers. Narvaez denied any association with Combs in a post on her Instagram.
“Narvaez retaliated by immediately taking to the Internet and publishing multiple defamatory statements on her public Instagram account,” Jackson’s lawsuit stated, “to falsely and publicly accuse Jackson of rape and physical abuse during their prior relationship.”
The filing further states that despite several attempts by Jackson and his legal team to have Narvaez rectify or retract her defamatory statements, she has not complied. Jackson is seeking damages exceeding $1 million for the significant harm caused by Narvaez’s false and defamatory claims.
