Kyle Juszczyk of the 49ers makes a lighthearted comment about Taylor Swift not wearing clothes by his wife at Super Bowl LVIII
As the 2023 NFL season comes to a close this Sunday, Taylor Swift has become a central figure, winning Grammys, attracting new football fans, and captivating audiences with her romance with Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
While Swift’s NFL association has mainly revolved around Kelce, she has also had a positive impact on 49ers player Kyle Juszczyk.
During Kansas City’s Super Wild Card Win over the Dolphins, Swift donned a winter jacket resembling a Kelce jersey, designed by Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin. This brought attention to Kristin’s star and her designs.
Despite Juszczyk’s appreciation for Swift’s support, Swift will need to find a different designer for Super Bowl LVIII when Kelce’s Chiefs face Juszczyk’s 49ers.
“We’re big supporters of Taylor, but not this week,” Kyle Juszczyk jokingly told NFL Network’s Omar Ruiz.
“That’s another really cool thing is that everyone who sees her work, I haven’t heard any negative things about it,” Juszczyk added. “Everybody is like, ‘Wow, that’s really cool. That’s really impressive.’ So, I feel like it’s rare, usually when you blow up on this level, you’re going to find some negativity and there’s been so little of it.”
As often happens with Swift-related things, Kristin Juszczyk’s sports-themed clothes went viral after being worn by the pop star. The NFL also took notice, reaching a licensing deal that allows Kristin Juszczyk to use NFL marks in her work.
