Jana Duggar from ’19 Kids and Counting’ Ties the Knot with Stephen Wissmann
Josh Duggar (m. Anna Keller)
Josh Duggar, the eldest child, was born on March 3, 1988. He also became a conservative activist, advocating for the Family Research Council.
In 2015, he resigned from his position after old police records revealed accusations of him molesting several girls, including his sisters Jessa and Jill, when he was a teenager. Jessa defended him during an interview with Fox News, stating that the negative comments about Josh were exaggerated and untrue. She mentioned being one of the victims herself.
Despite his infidelity and admission of guilt, his wife stood by him. His parents referred to his decision to enter a treatment center in 2016 as a crucial step towards healing. At the time of the scandal, they were parents to three children—Mackynzie (Oct. 8, 2009), Michael (June 15, 2011), and Marcus (June 2, 2013). Their fourth child, Meredith, was born on July 16, 2015, the same day TLC canceled 19 Kids. Subsequently, their fifth child, Mason Garrett, was born on Sept. 12, 2017, Maryella Hope on Nov. 27, 2019, and Madyson Lily on Oct. 23, 2021.
In April 2021, Josh was indicted on charges of receipt and possession of child pornography. He pleaded not guilty but was found guilty in 2022 on both counts, receiving a 12 and a half-year prison sentence.
