Selena, from 16 and Pregnant, shares her thoughts on the passing of ex-boyfriend Sean Garinger.
Selena Gutierrez is speaking out after the passing of her former partner Sean Garinger. They shared two daughters, Dareli (3) and Esmi (19 months), before Sean’s tragic ATV accident at his home in Boone, N.C. on Feb. 28, where he was 20 years old.
“No matter what happened, he was the father of my children,” Selena told The Daily Mail in a recent interview published on March 5. “Even though our relationship had its challenges, he was my first love and the father of our two beautiful daughters, for whom I will always be thankful.”
Despite not being on great terms with her ex, the former MTV reality star, who appeared on the sixth season of 16 and Pregnant with Sean, mentioned that they had moved forward with their lives before his untimely passing.
“We didn’t communicate directly, it was always through family members, but he was doing better,” Selena shared. “He had achieved over 200 days of sobriety.”
