15-Year-Old Dirt Bike Rider Amelia Kotze Dies After Mid-Race Crash
A tragic incident occurred during a dirt bike race in Australia, resulting in the death of a teenage girl.
Amelia Kotze, aged 15, was involved in an accident at the Central Coast Cup on May 25. Despite being airlifted to a children’s hospital, she sadly passed away on May 28 after fighting for her life in the intensive care unit, as reported by 7News Australia.
“With deep sadness, we announce the untimely passing of rider Amelia Kotze,” stated Motorcycling New South Wales. “Amelia, a cherished member of our motorcycling community, lost her life due to injuries sustained during the Central Coast Cup. She departed at the young age of 15.”
